Cricket --> Robin fit for opening?

So the CB Series is bout to reach its climax after a month long duration. And i hope it ends where it started,"The Gabba, Brisbane". But for that, some thought process needs to go in.. With Ishant Sharma doubtful for the match, it will be all the more difficult for the Indian team to write history..
The first thing that needs to be sorted out is the opening slot. I certainly dont think Robin Uthappa has the technique or the temparament to be a good opener (at least as of now). So that leaves either Gautam Gambhir or inclusion of Virender Sehwag. Sehwag's last two innings at the Gabba yielded a 33 (off 37 balls) and a meagre 6 (off 8 balls), but he surely showed signs of promise in the former innings. Also a 7 batsman-4 bowler side looks like a more balanced one, with Yuvraj Singh coming good with the ball. Robin should drop down to his usual No.7 position (definitely not No.8) with the bowling brigade lead by Ishant (Sreesanth in case Ishant is unfit), Praveen, Bhajji and Pathan.
P.S. : I sincerely hope Dhoni doesnt mess with the batting order and send Pathan up the order or even make him open the batting.
